The location was fantastic, and the cozy rooftop terrace was a perfect chill spot. Loved the spacious duplex room layout!

Excellent in-person service from front desk staff.
Unfortunately, the wifi was frequently down during our stay, which made communication challenging, especially when we needed assistance. The cleanliness could have been better. I noticed dust accumulating in various common areas. Also, the rooftop terrace, which seemed promising, was not well-maintained and detracted from what could have been a lovely space to relax.

A cozy retreat in San Telmo
The historic charm of the building captivated us, with stunning original ceilings and thoughtfully designed loft-like rooms. The staff, especially Agustin, were incredibly supportive, helping with everything from currency exchange to local tips.
Unfortunately, we encountered a few hiccups, like inadequate breakfast options and noisy iron grates outside our room that disrupted our sleep at night. Additionally, finding towels was sometimes a challenge.

Oh what a lovely suite, if I could just overlook the torrid situation of torn bedsheets and the leaky shower, both exceptionally charming. I really expected a complimentary upgrade since I was practically doing them a favor by staying there. Almost left a good review but just couldn't!

perfect location in San Telmo, interesting property merging old with new, quiet front suite with two shower rooms
They charge in USD instead of pesos, leading to exorbitant costs!!! The weak AC made for an uncomfortable first night!!! The roof terrace was dirty and poorly maintained!!! Also, the lack of staff presence was disconcerting!!!

Charming old building with a lovely rooftop terrace and spacious mezzanine-style rooms. The cozy beds ensured restful nights, and the helpful staff were eager to assist with any requests. Located just a short walk from excellent dining options, including local favorites, made meals convenient. However, the noise from nearby streets occasionally disrupted the peace, and the limited breakfast choices left something to be desired.
